J.S.M. Electronics Inc. is a woman-owned small business that manufactures cable assemblies, connectors and interconnect products. It
has been in business nine years, has 35 employees with annual sales of $9 million. Over the course of one year, J.S.M. delivered over
13,000 assemblies and maintained a 99.61 percent quality rating.
It successfully supported four different programs at MFC including Wind Corrected Munitions Dispenser, Longbow Launcher, Joint Common
Missile and Longbow Missile. On the latter program, J.S.M. interfaced with Lockheed Martin's production and technical employees
culminating in an innovative design of radio frequency coax cables that surpassed performance requirements.
Its design coupled with its best value pricing resulted in savings exceeding $1 million. J.S.M.'s accelerated deliveries of the cables
single handedly prevented a gap in Ocala's production line.
J.S.M. further demonstrated a strong commitment to a successful relationship with Lockheed Martin by investing more than $50,000 into
a dedicated assembly and test area to support Longbow Missile production needs.
This included the re-layout of an entire building and a major construction effort. We applaud J.S.M. for its responsiveness and
dedication to customer satisfaction. Its outstanding quality and delivery performance qualifies J.S.M. as a candidate for silver
level Preferred Supplier status.
